What seems like my last Cabo vacation for a while has just come to an end. Working full time all summer, I doubt I will have anytime to get away, so this little quick getaway was my last trip, before a full couple of months filled with NYC and I couldn't be happier. Maybe it was the Mexico vibe, but right now I am super into colors, which is either good or bad in NYC. I've always been an all black kind of girl, but recently the color blocking and neon scene has gotten to me. I honesty feel like I am happier when I'm all wrapped up in colors.

So for those of you who aren't privileged enough to be bombarded by my social media, I guess this is the time and place for me to tell you that this summer I will be interning at IMG modeling agency in NEW YORK CITY(
their blog is here). I have been dreaming of this moment since I went to New York when I was 10 years old. I always wanted to live there, but I never actually thought it would happen, until a month ago when I was hired by this wonderful company! For the past two months I have been thinking, and replaying, and imagining how life in NYC is going to be, and besides watching Sex and The City over and over again I can't even begin to fathom this. I want to cry just thinking about this experience. The closer it gets the more anxious I am. I'm nervous. What if they are mean, what if I do a horrible job, what if I don't have any friends, all of these ideas dance around my brain the closer it gets. I take these thoughts as motivation to have even more fun, and do an even better job than I plan on doing.
May has been a lot to take on, left all my friends at school, came home, bought a beautiful baby puppy Lilly....(midlife crisis type actions) and I am now counting down the days until I leave for the summer, forget everything and live the New York life * 12 days* So cliche for such a small town girl to be this excited about moving, but those of you who know me, know that NYC is one of my first true loves. I cannot believe this is all happening in just 12 days. I always knew one day I would be here, but I never knew it was going to be this soon and for such an amazing opportunity. A couple days ago my grandma said the most empowering words to me and I can't stop thinking about them. She looked at me told me how proud of me she was and said, "Get ready Sara, because this is about to change your life". Gives me chills thinking about it. Lilly and I are about to embark on an adventure to the city, and who knows if we will ever come back.
