Made in Manhattan.

This past weekend Ashley& I were lucky enough to attend Teen Vogue's 6th annual University program in New York City. Not only is NYC our love, but the fact that we were about to endure 3 days of pure amazing-ness was enough to make me die. I honestly think this was one of the greatest experiences I have had. It was a weekend full of speakers with knowledge, success, and wisdom that is so rare  now days, it was life changing.

Michael Kors, Whitney Port, and Alexander Wang were juts a few of my idols that spoke. Top bloggers, Teen Vogue editors, and many other designers were taking over Manhattan this weekend, and they all had a story, and they all had what it took to be amazing. Intimate group sessions took place, and I honestly felt that I was in the presence of royalty. Their words were so inspiring I literally got chills when Michael Kors told his story. It was honestly a fashion guru's dream come true, and I could not have been in a better place.

As if we weren't exhausted enough from running around like real New Yorkers starting with 7 am days, we didn't miss a chance to go shopping. We hit SoHo& Meatpacking District (our favorite spots) just in time for our last goodbyes. Something about those areas are so peaceful, yet so exhilarating. SoHo is like a hide way in all the mayhem that is going on. I dream of living here one day, and this just made me want to work that much harder.

This was truly inspiring to us, so get lost in the inspiration.

MK+A

Those of you who follow this blog know that one of our ultimate style icons are the Olsen Twins. Not only has my obsession been ongoing for about twenty years, but they never cease to amaze me. That is why when this years Elizabeth and James Spring 2012 collection came out I literally about died. It's bright colors, and prints are so beautiful (and I don't even like bright colors) I could not help but obsess over these geniuses.

This collection is beautiful& inspiring. I'm not sure if they will ever stop when it comes to fashion.

enjoy.

Stella McCartney

"It's a celebration of energy, freshness, and fitness."
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I have been knocked over by the wave of Stella McCartney’s Spring 2012 RTW Collection... literally.
My jaw continues to drop as I continue to go through the slideshow on style.com
THIS COLLECTION IS UNBELIEVABLE!! I am speechless. She must have been on the nicest beach in the most gorgeous house with patterns and texture on her mind...
I’ll let the clothes speak for themselves.

Ash.

Love LiFe

This past weekend I went on a roadtrip with my boyfriend to visit two of my dearest friends in L.A (yes we put our relationship to another test: Him vs. Shopping). It was such an amazing weekend& wonderful trip it really helped me realize what it is I love. I realized this trip how happy I was, and all the things I have to be thankful for. That includes my closet.

It wouldn't be a trip if I didn't hit LF on Robertson. In fact that is the ONLY store I hit on Robertson. I spent one night in the North Hollywood/Beverly Hills area and that is all that I did. I met the most amazing girl there. She was the manager of the store and just so happened to be helping me buy all these amazing clothes. Come to find out she was a stylist in the works& literally was brilliant she knew what was up and I loved that, she reminded me of myself. The way she got so excited about a pair of shoes *help. She ended up asking for my girlfriends name because she wanted her to be in their look book and maybe do some modeling for them (OH MY GOD DREAM COME TRUE) I was thrilled and left with my new lovers, the clothes.

Those of you who follow this know that the love I have for LF stores is like no other. So Naturally the next day while I was in Manhattan Beach, I went to the LF there. The next day& I was as excited walking in there as I was the day before. It was as if I hadn't been there in 3 months (I have problems)
So naturally here is my tribute to LF.
