Oh My Chrismas

     As long as I can remember I have had a white Christmas. Our family is so blessed and tight that we have a tradition every year we spend it in Colorado. I can't imagine anything different. Something about being woken up by your 6 nieces and nephews at 7 am while its snowing on Christmas day is totally magical. We are starting to prepare our Christmas dinner, and allllll the Christmas goodies. Hauling all 16 of us to church will be an adventure, but coming home tonight to play our white elephant game and continuing the festivities as long as we can (so that the children sleep past 5 am) is the best part.


     I gave you a look in a Very Vintage Christmas, now here is a look at a very recent Christmas. Hope all of you are enjoying your time with your families, big or small, you should cherish it!

A Very Vintage Christmas

     As Christmas comes near I went through some old photos to see how much my family has grown and changed. Let's just say that it was a laugh. Between 5 girls you can imagine we have all changed SO much. Here are some photos to see how we used to treat Christmas.......maybe I will bring back the jean skirt? My older sisters are going to KILL ME if they see this, but hey we all went through some awkward phases. & yes we are all REAL sisters. Two red heads, a brunette, two blondes, and a partridge in a pear tree.


     I love my family SO much more than anything (yes even clothes) I hope yall are enjoying the holidays with your loved one.

A Lot Like Christmas

I am finally home for break and let the Christmas festivities begin. My parents annual Christmas party is tonight and my mother has my entire family planning with her. *She has baked home made cookies, brownies, cakes, and new concoctions ALL from scratch and it is finally time.


It finally feels like Christmas and it is so exciting. This break is going to be amazing, and not to mention my cousin got engaged last night check out that ROCK.

*I will never do a post on food again (I am not domestic at all& can't even start the oven) so this is my big debut with my own masterpieces!

Gal Pal

Obviously it's that time of year. Finals are finished& holiday outfits are in the process of being picked out! The other night while I was studying for a final I took an hour break somewhere around 2 am to shop.......I couldn't help it. So naturally I got on Nasty Gal for a quick fix. It ended with a couple of purchases and today when they arrived I could not be happier. I got big chunky sweaters to pair with my leather leggings, leopard prints to give a bold statement to an outfit, and tons and tons of sequins to bring me a happy New Year :)

Color is big. I don't usually like bright colors for the winter, but a HOT pink skirt, with a metallic shirt could easily be amazing. Happy sequin crazy. I think this is the time to wear sequins with everything, whether you think you can "pull it off" or not. Deep plunging necklines and backlines are always fun and can make an outfit much more made up. Here are my favorite items! Hopefully you can find some Holiday&NYE inspiration.

True Whit

     Last week Whitney Port came to my school to speak. Now I have loved Whitney since day one with her bright blonde hair sitting by Lauren Conrads side. She has a unique sense of style, and dresses how she wants. She has so many styles&looks I love seeing her wear the craziest styles so naturally. She has been iconic to me for years&seeing her was so intriguing,

    She was so amazing& inspirational I couldn't even contain myself. Obviously I always loved her on The Hills, but seeing her in person and how real she was made her role ten times better.  She gave advice on business, internships, philanthropic activity, and obviously her own fashion tips.  * Her favorite nail polish is 5th Avenue by Essie Seeing that I am almost finished with college it was a real wake up call to me. The next day not only did I order 5 amazing pieces from her new collection, but I sent my resume out to 9 different companies. Ranging from Teen Vogue, to Womens Wear Daily, and even Whitney's own company. I heard back from almost all of them and now I just wait and let God decide what he wants to reward me with, if he even wants to reward me!
