      So today is one of my many fashion icons birthdays. Lauren Conrad. Although I envy her for literally being at the right place at the right time, and basically becoming famous for living a regular 20 year olds drama filled life, I just love her. Maybe it's because I feel that, like myself, she went from a horrid highschool bleach blonde mess to a fashion obsessed toned down better version of herself. Or it could be the fact that my generation has grown up with her. We've heard all of her best one liners, her insightful words of Windsor, and been there to watch every single boy and girl screw her over *Who could forget that BLACK tear.

      None the less she has created an empire. I can honestly say that she is was helped spark my passion for this. Whether it was her nail color, her hair cut, or her newest BFF bracelets I was watching her every move. She has done so much& her newest line Paper Crown is so beautiful.  From the details to the fabric, to the fit I have fallen in love and she has done it again. Thank god her and Whit really pulled it together and made it out there in the real world, that alone makes me so happy. Wish I had their lives. Anyway today we dedicate the blog to Lauren, without her I'd probably still be wearing Pumas and capri pants..(judge me now)

Love Me

       Oh Valentines Day. 

      Here is that awful dreaded post some of you have been dreading for the past month. Some hate the day, some love it, and some just refuse to acknowledge it. Usually I never really care or even like to think about Valentines, but this year I figured I would help girls on what they would LOVE to have. Honestly I don't see why there is a day set in the calender where someone special has to buy you something....I say go buy yourself anything you want whenever you want, but ESPECIALLY on this day. However I do realize some of you are way too prideful to ever do such a thing (obviously not me). 

      So whether it's a friend, loved one, parent, or secret admirer that decides to get you something, you should obviously LOVE it.       This is about a week late, but last week I caught wind of Rachel Zoe's new collection and I literally fell in love. It has been a slow month in fashion, and a stressful month for my life. Looking at this look book reminded me what it is I love about fashion, how much I love fashion, and how brilliant RZ is. Obviously she is one of my idols, and her first collection was amazing, so this just made things that much better. This line is very classic and does not require you to "pull off" naything.
      I'm obsesssssed with the colors in this collection. The classic shape bags, bold colors and girly Parisian look really interest me. My favorite pieces are below*especially the cardigans and blazers. I want to buy the silky tops in every color, it will give my go-to  DVF tops a break.

Street Style Stars of Men's Fashion Week

Men's fashion week has come, and although I hate to say I'm more into woman's fashion then mens (guys don't wear heels or feathers or jeweled gowns?!), I do always love to stare at the street style stars.
