My Apartment has the Blues

This is less a makeover and more a beginning design.

Carrie’s makeover in SATC Movie inspired the bright blue color on the walls.

Because the blue scared me on ALL the walls of my 1200 sqft apartment,

I bought this fabulous paper from paper source {4.95 a sheet!}

and pinned them up behind my desk area. It is handmade and the gold patterned paint sparkles!

I love my silver poof from Jonathan Adler and this beaded pillow from BedBath&Beyond.

Summer Shopping. Part II

What a successful day.

I’m adding a Part II to Summer Weather = Shopping; or more of “results”. After an hour at Alex and Ani, Kathleen and I found some fabulous pieces! Including this bracelet with dangling chains [inspiration=Taylor Tomasi Hill]. Kathleen found different ones around the store making a perfect tribal inspired set. I also found this ring with a charm that says FIRE. Love it.

Zara was too far, but luckily Jonathan Adler was right next door. I found the most amazing silver metallic pouf. It is absolutely the perfect extra seat. Kathleen thought this banana flower holder was adorable, as did I. Now, it has a home next to my Pottery Barn frame [which I got on sale].
